Hi! My name is James Potter. I'm from "nia!verse", according to the pamphlet. I've been here a while, and something I've noticed is that there are quite a lot of "experiments". A lot of times we don't do much about them, or if we do, we only really pass on what we know to a few people / work in family groups to take care of the issues. Most recently, Beta was invaded by pygmy puffs. For once I actually asked for help in a general call, and hey, it worked!

I know that a lot of the experiments we can do jack all about. We couldn't do much for the black-and-white Deltans (I mean, maybe we could have tried painting them, but). But there are experiments we could make easier on others, or try to end. Mostly this would involve people being willing to lend a hand. And come on, it's not like we have jobs to get back to in this place.

The easiest way to do that is to have sort of a neighborhood watch. I'm suggesting we do it by block - i.e. sign up to be on your block's response team, and we'll see to basic training as needed. The basic duty of these teams would be to supply aid whenever anyone is having issues re: an experiment (by block because experiments are by block, so), and team leader can be voted on from the people signing up for each group, yeah? We can have elections for team leads sometime next week, to give people time to put their names up for lists. Team lead can be rotational, even. We'll talk about it. From now on we should inform people when we notice what might be or definitely is an experiment, and, y'know, maybe try to come up with ways to help them. Like, Kappa? I hear you guys have a lot of rain. Maybe we could make you some umbrellas.

Basically? I think we have the chance to make things easier on ourselves, and we should take it.

Kids? You interested? We could use people looking out for possible experiments, so you can sign up, too.
